OpenSanctions Default

OpenSanctions Default is the broadest available OpenSanctions dataset. It covers any entity that should receive enhanced public scrutiny — either because they appear on a sanctions list, in a criminal context, or as a political office holder.

The dataset aggregates data from more than 330 sources worldwide, including OFAC, EU Consolidated Sanctions, UN Security Council, and national sanctions lists, as well as politically exposed persons (PEPs) registries from over 60 countries.

Entities are modelled using the FollowTheMoney (FtM) ontology and are split here into one table per entity schema type for easier consumption.
