OECD dataset from agency OECD.STI.STP: DSD_BIBLIO@DF_BIBLIO (2009 - 2023)

The following dataset presents seven bibliometric indicators by fields of science for the 2009-2023 period. The dataset covers OECD member and accession countries, key partners (including Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa) and other selected non-OECD countries.

The indicators are:

1. Scientific publications, fractional counts.

2. The percentage of corresponding/leading author documents.

3. The percentage of scientific publications involving international collaboration.

4. The number of top 10% most cited scientific publications, fractional counts.

5. Percentage of scientific publications among the world's 10% top-cited publications. The world average is 10% for the period.

6. The normalised citation impact score is the ratio of actual versus expected publications, shown as a percentage. The world average is 100.

7. The specialisation index relative to world of scientific publications measures relative specialisation. The world average is 1.
