About this Dataset

Waste - Selected Waste Streams: Generation, Recovery And Recycling

This dataset presents the generation, recovery and recycling of selected waste streams. It includes all waste generated, i.e. household and other municipal waste, waste handled by the scrapping industry and other waste. Waste collected for recycling by private sources should be included. Waste material undergoing internal recycling, i.e. directly at the place of generation, is excluded.

Data source(s) : (i) OECD State of the environment questionnaire for non-European countries and (ii) Eurostat database (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/environment/database) for EU countries.
