An exam is defined as a medical imaging session to study one (or more than one) body part that yields one or more views for diagnostic purposes.
Data are collected for Computed Tomography (CT) exams, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) exams. Data are collected for the total number of exams and for the breakdown between hospitals and ambulatory care providers.
