This dataset provides aggregate statistics on the geographical distribution of bilateral and multilateral disbursements of other official flows (OOF) to developing countries and territories on the DAC List of ODA Recipients and multilateral agencies that are ODA-eligible, including private sector instruments and officially-supported export credits.
OOF (excluding export credits) are transactions that do not meet the conditions for eligibility as ODA, either because they are not primarily aimed at development, or they are not sufficiently concessional. Further information on the criteria for OOF are available in Chapter 1 of the Converged Statistical Reporting Directives. Officially supported export credits are extended by government-owned or -controlled specialised export-financing agencies or institutions for commercial purposes to finance a specific purchase of goods or services from within the creditor country.
To assist with the transition between systems, we provide a mapping of codes between OECD.Stat (legacy) and the OECD Data Explorer. Please consult our database of development finance classifications for further information on all possible codes for each attribute. We also have a codebook for the DAC and CRS tables.
For more information on these flows, please see the OECD's main page on official development assistance and finance for sustainable development, including frequently asked questions (FAQs) on ODA. See also the converged statistical reporting directives governing these data, alongside other guidance on using our data. You may also be interested in our latest dashboards.
