Dataset Description
Global Summary of the Year (GSOY) data provides a global summary of meteorological elements (max temp, snow, etc) from 1763 to present with updates weekly on a yearly resolution. The data are computed from input data using the Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN)-Daily dataset (@noaa.ghcn_daily).
