The data is provided by calendar year and by county. It reflects eligible children receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Basic Cash Assistance payments.

The percentage of children by county was calculated by the Colorado Children's Campaign. Percentages are based on total child-population projections from the Colorado State Demography Office.
