Substantiated Child Abuse/neglect And Family Assessments (1995–2015)

Definition

Number of child abuse victims from reports classified as "preponderance of evidence" that indicates child abuse or neglect has occurred. In addition, this outcome includes the number of family assessments that have occurred based on potential for abuse/neglect.  Rate is per 1,000 children.
