Deaths occurring to infants under 1 year of age per 1,000 live births by race and ethnicity (White non-Hispanic, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, and Asian or Pacific Islander)

Notes

Infant mortality rate was calculated by the number of infant deaths per 1,000 live births in specified ethnic/gender group; infant deaths are by the race/ethnicity of the decedent; For consistency with the national data, the denominators used to calculate infant mortality rates were changed from race/ethnicity of parents to race/ethnicity of mother as stated on the birth certificate
