Children under age 18 who are in poverty according to the
supplemental poverty measure.

Data Source

PRB analysis of data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Supplemental Poverty Measure Public Use Research files. The 2013 data uses the 2014 CPS ASEC sample eligible to receive the redesigned income questions.
