Definition

The percentage of  students scoring level 4 or level 5 on statewide assessments. Data include traditional district schools as well as charter schools.

For the school year ending in June of each year listed.

Beginning in the Spring of 2019, the naming of statewide assessments changed from the NJ Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) to the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA).

Data Source

As reported by the New Jersey Department of Education, NJ Statewide Assessment Reports.

Note: New Jersey standardized testing was cancelled in the spring of 2020 and 2021; as a result, data for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years are unavailable.
