Removal reasons are not mutually exclusive. More than one reason may be chosen for the reason a child is removed from his/her home. Timeframe is state fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30 (SFY17 is July 1, 2016 - June 30 2017.

the universe of children for this indicator is children in the foster care system that state fiscal year and NOT to children who entered into foster care that state fiscal year.
