Notes
Afterschool enrichment programs located in low-income neighborhoods can be reimbursed by the Texas Department of Agriculture for serving no-cost meals to children in their programs. The average number of meals served daily is reported as a proxy estimate for the number of children fed through the Afterschool Meals Program.
