Preterm Births (2010–2023)

Definition

Number and percent of preterm births (less than 37 weeks gestation) among all live births with valid data by Alaska Public Health Region.

Region is determined by maternal residence, not site of delivery.

Gestational age is based upon the obstetrical estimate of gestation at delivery (OE).  All data are presented using the OE.
