Definition
The median family income among households with children is the income level at which half of all households with children have a greater income and half have a lower income.
Data Source
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 5-yr Estimates.
Notes
Data reflect family households with "own children", which refers to a householder's children by birth, marriage, or adoption. The data points are rounded to the nearest hundred.
S=data is suppressed when the estimate is unreliable.
