Definition

Number and percent of births to unmarried females age 19 and under. The percentage is calculated out of all live births (i.e., of all the babies that were born, how many babies were born to single teens?).

Notes

"LNE" indicates that the number of births to unmarried teens (19 & younger) is 1-9 or the percentage is based on a count of 1-9. "NA" indicates there were no teen births in that county (to single or married teens).

"NA" for the percentage means population estimates are not yet available to calculate percentages.
