Definition

Total population for race by county. ACS provides data for the following racial groups: White; Black or African American; Indian and Alaska Native; Asian; Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander; Some other race; and Two or more races. Percentages and raw numbers are provided for all racial groups. These figures are based on five-year estimates from the American Community Survey.
