Childcare Workers With No Formal Training (2011–2014)

Definition

This is the percent of all childcare workers enrolled in the state's training register system called STARS Career Pathway who have no formal training in caring for children.
This is the percent of all childcare workers enrolled in the state's training register system called STARS Career Pathway who have no formal training in caring for children.  All workers enrolled in Level I and II of the Career Pathway fit this criteria.  Level I requires either being enrolled in high school or in a GED preparation class, and Level II requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 1 years experience.
