Number and percent of children under age 18 living with an income below the official poverty threshold.
Data Source
Source: U.S. Census Bureau, Small Area Income and Poverty Program (SAIPE).
Notes
Families and persons are classified as living in poverty if their total family income or unrelated individual income was less than the poverty threshold specified for the applicable family size, age of householder and number of related children under age 18.
Rates on poverty estimates for Judicial District with more than one county are based on estimated population of children age 0 to 17 from the Tennessee Department of Health.
