Low Birthweight Babies (2018–2024)

Definition

This indicator reports the number and percent of infants born at low birth weights to women residing in each New Hampshire county, regardless of where the birth took place. “Low birth weight” describes infants weighing less than 2,500 grams (5. pounds) at birth. Percents are of total births.
