Definition

The minimum number of dissolutions of marriage with children under age 18. In 2008, FL had almost 4,900 dissolutions of marriage where it was unknown if minor children were involved. Includes both divorces and annulments. Data on dissolution of marriage are by place of occurrence only; there is no interstate exchange of these records. Florida dissolutions of marriage are granted to Florida residents only.
