Definition

The number and percent of births to single mothers by age group. Figures are divided into six age groups: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, and 35 and older.

The data used for this measure come from the Center for Health Statistics, Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Birth Data. were retrieved on April 26, 2019 from http://www.doh.wa.gov/DataandStatisticalReports/VitalStatisticsData/BirthData/BirthTablesbyTopic.aspx (Demographic Table A11)

S: Data estimate has been suppressed. When the number of single mothers was 5 or fewer, the rates are not shown.
