Definition

Family foster homes relative to the State's goal for 2010 compares the number of family foster homes in each jurisdiction to the goal set for that jurisdiction by the Maryland Department of Human Resources.

For example, a value of 0 indicates that the county has met the State's goal, while a value of -12 indicates that the county is 12 family foster homes short of meeting the 2010 goal.

The number of family foster homes does not include therapeutic foster homes.
