Teen Births (1998–2021)

Definition

Number of 15-17 year old females who gave birth during a calendar year. Rate is number of live births per 1,000 females of same age group.

Data Source

Data were collected from the Office of Vital Records and Statistics, Division of Population Health Assessment, Tennessee Department of Health. The KIDS COUNT division of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth organized the data.
