Live births by race and ethnicity of mother. The data reflect the mother’s place of residence, not the place where the birth occurred. Figures represent the race of the mother, not the race of the child.

PRB analysis of data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics microdata files.
Notes
S - Estimates suppressed when NCHS reporting standards not met.
