Definition
The percentages of resident persons with a live birth who reported either...
(1) taking daily multivitamins/folic acid 4 or more times a week in the month prior to pregnancy or
(2) taking daily multivitamins/folic acid less than 4 times a week in the month prior to pregnancy.
This indicator is stratified by Alaska Public Health Region.
Region is determined by maternal residence, not site of delivery.
During the month before you got pregnant with your new baby, how many times a week did you take a multivitamin, prenatal vitamin, or a folic acid vitamin?
