Animal Crossing V2

This dataset originates from a comprehensive Item Catalog for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) compiled in a spreadsheet. As detailed by Wikipedia, ACNH is a life simulation game released by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020. It is the fifth main entry in the Animal Crossing series and achieved significant success, with 5 million digital copies sold, setting a record for the most digital units sold in a single month for a Switch title. In New Horizons, players assume the role of a customizable character who relocates to a deserted island. The game unfolds in real-time, allowing players to explore the island in a nonlinear fashion, gather and craft items, catch insects and fish, and develop the island into a thriving community of anthropomorphic animals.

The dataset comprises 30 CSV files, each listing various in-game items, villagers, clothing, and other collectibles. This data was meticulously collected by a group of dedicated ACNH fans who continue to collaborate on maintaining the spreadsheet, which is publicly accessible. The database preserves the original data, including a complete list of contributors and raw data. The only notable difference between the spreadsheet and this version on Kaggle is the omission of columns containing images of items, though the rest of the information remains unchanged.
