Context

The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in the video game industry. The shows are produced and hosted by Canadian games journalist Geoff Keighley who had worked on its predecessor, the Spike Video Game Awards, for over ten years. The ceremonies also feature premieres of new games and in-depth looks at previously announced ones.

This file contains a manually scrap of The Game Awards Database, recorded of winners and nominees between 2014 and 2019.

Acknowledgements

The awards data was scraped from the Wikipedia search site; nominees were listed with their name first and company following in some categories, such as Game of the Year and Developer of The Year.

Which company has received the most awards overall or in a single year?

Which country received the most awards at an event and overall?
