The data is made of the historical prices of some of the major cryptocurrencies and includes pricing details for 365 days. Each row contains the data a particular date. The dataset consists of one csv file per currency and a total of 20 such files for the top 20 cryptocurrencies (by Market Cap). The following are the columns available in each csv file:
currency : Name of the cryptocurrency
ticker : Ticker symbol of the currency
date : Date of the price details
open_price : Opening price (in USD) on the given date
high : Highest price (in USD) on the given date
low : Lowest price (in USD) on the given date
close_price : Closing price (in USD) on the given date
volume : Volume (in USD) of the currency traded on the given date
market_cap : The total market value (in USD) of a cryptocurrency's circulating supply. It is analogous to the free-float capitalization in the stock market.
This data is taken from coinmarketcap.
