IPL 2020 By Numbers

Context

This dataset is of Indian Premier League 2020, and contains information of the all the matches, till the end of league stage.
This dataset was born out of a hobby of mine to see statistics of a cricket match. This is my first time creating and publishing a dataset. If you could suggest any improvements or have any advice for me, please do mention. Also, let me know what other interesting stuff you do with this dataset.

Content

The data in the 2 datasets has been created and maintained by me, without any use of API. I took the help of cricbuzz.com to get the different data for each of the 56 matches. There are 2 datasets, one for Game Analysis and one for Venue Analysis.

I would like to thank the Cricbuzz team for the scorecards and ball-by-ball updates, using which I have created the datasets.

Inspiration

I really had no other inspiration other than to see this IPL through numbers and statistics. The urge to see different patterns, infer things and try and relate to what I see during the match made me create this dataset.
