Context

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a men's Twenty20 cricket franchise league in India. It is owned and operated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 2023 is the 16th edition of this league. In this edition, the league will follow the famous home and away format.

Content

This dataset is for the Indian Premier League only. It contains ball-by-ball data for the ongoing 2023 season along with match-level information for all the matches that have been played so far.

Acknowledgements

The source of this dataset is Cricsheet. Cricsheet provides ball and ball data for most cricket tournaments. Matches-level data has been processed using raw info files and converted into a single CSV file.
