Cryptojacking-hardware-traces

The cryptojacking-hardware-traces dataset comprises extensive hardware usage traces of cryptojacking activity, collected on Ubuntu OS using eBPF technology. This dataset provides valuable insights into the behavior and resource consumption patterns of cryptojackers.

The data was obtained through a test environment in which various user processes, as well as processes of a professional Monero miner (XMRig) and a proprietary cryptojacking module, were run. The architecture of the test environment and an overview of the process for setting up experiments and collecting data are discussed in detail in a scientific article that will be published soon.
