For example for analysing trends in the history, predicting award winners (MVP, All-NBA Team, DPOY, etc.)

Source of the data is the official NBA website. As said in Terms of Service of NBA's website: this data can't be used for any gambling related tasks, any sponsorship or commercial identification, in connection with any fantasy game or other commercial product or service, etc.
