2023 NPB Active Players

These data are taken from npb.com, representing the current career statistics for active Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) players in Japan. Included are both a Batting and Pitching data set. In each there are demographic data:

• Player ID (unique identifier for each player)
• Last Name
• First Name
• Position
• Bats (both, left, right)
• Throws (left, right)
• Height (cm)
• Weight (kg)
• Born (birthdate)
• Year
• Team

Then, each data set has BOBBC (back of baseball card) batting and pitching statistics, respectively.
