The NPFL (Nigeria Professional Football League)

The NPFL (Nigeria Professional Football League) is Nigeria's top-flight football league that operates on a 20-team based league. The NPFL is Nigeria's feeder of teams to the CAF champions league and CAF Confederations Cup (Africa's top-tier and second-tier continental football competitions respectively for domestic clubs). The NPFL qualifies the two teams who finish 1st and 2nd on the final standings, for the CAF champions league while the third placed team automatically qualifies for the CAF confederations cup.
The NPFL relegates the bottom four teams from the league to the NNL (Nigeria National League, Nigeria's Second-division football league) and, the top four teams in NNL are promoted to the NPFL for the next season.

b. NPFL-2019.xlsx : This file contains the stats of each of the 20 teams that played in the 2018/2019 season. It also contains 3 worksheets namely: Group A, Group B, and Championship Playoffs. The performance of the teams are described by 15 columns including their final positions on the league table.
