The story behind the data set is to identify the unique food culture and cuisines of Hyderabad. This place has a very balanced segmentation when it comes to food and drinks, both cosmopolitan (Italian, Chinese, North Indian) and heritage (mouth watering and ear burning biryanis).

Content

There are two separate files, while the columns are self explanatory. Below is a brief description:

1. Restaurant names and Metadata - This could help in clustering the restaurants into segments. Also the data has valuable information around cuisine and costing which can be used in cost vs. benefit analysis
2. Restaurant reviews - Data could be used for sentiment analysis. Also the metadata of reviewers can be used for identifying the critics in the industry.

Inspiration

Inspiration behind this is to identify how the culture is shifting in outdoor dining and also, what is the sentiment towards particular cuisines, in order to identify the following:

1. The upcoming trends in outdoor dining and influences
2. How junta (Indian slang for general public) perceives the newer cuisines vs Hyderabadi cuisine
3. What are the factors of achieving a good vs bad ratings
