APMUS-D provides structured anxiety -related data from Mexican university students and can be used to explore emotional patterns, group differences, and overall anxiety perception in academic contexts. It is suitable for research, teaching, and data analysis.
Anxiety represents an important dimension of psychological well-being in university populations, given that students are frequently exposed to academic demands, performance expectations, social adjustment processes, and other contextual stressors that may affect their emotional functioning. In higher education settings, the study of anxiety-related indicators is particularly relevant because these experiences may influence learning processes, academic engagement, decision-making, and overall student well-being.
This dataset was developed to provide structured quantitative information on anxiety-related measures in a sample of Mexican university students. It includes continuous variables as well as derived categorical indicators designed to facilitate descriptive, comparative, and exploratory analyses. By making these data available in an organized format, the dataset aims to support reproducible research and enable secondary analyses focused on emotional patterns in university contexts.
