As per the orders of the honorable Supreme Court Of India, SBI had to publish the Electoral Bonds data that contained bond purchaser data and the details of encashing political party.

What is an Electoral Bond❓

Electoral Bond was a mode of funding to the political parties in India. The scheme of Anonymous Electoral Bond was introduced in The Finance Bill, 2017 during Union Budget 2017-18. It was struck down as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court on 15 February 2024.

As per the order, SBI published the datasets in the Election Commission Of India🗳️ website. This data can be deeply analyzed to bring out various insights regarding political funding in our country.
