This dataset is a curated list of one of the favourite Indices, the S&P BSE SENSEX 50.
It contains the stocks of 50 major companies listed under this index and contains data from the past 10 years.
Each stock contains 13 columns
- Date : Provides the date of market opening
- Open Price : The price at which the stock opens for the day
- High Price : The price at which the stock opens for the day
- Low Price : The lowest price the stock fetched during that trading day
- Closing Price : The price at which the stock closed after the trading day
- WAP : Weighted Average Price for the day
- No of Shares : No. of shares traded throughout the day
- No. of traders : The number of buy and sell trades happened throughout the day
- Total Turnovers : The total turnover based on the no of shares traded in that day
- Deliverable Quantities : Deliverable quantity of shares is which actually move from one set of people (who had those shares in their demat account before today and are selling today) to another set of people (who have purchased those shares and will get those shares by T+2 days in their demat account.
- % Deli. Qty to Traded Qty : The ratio between column 7 and 10.
- Spread High-Low : The ratio between the high and low spread
- Spread Close-Open : The ratio between the Close and opening price of the stock for that day
So this dataset is all for you to use and play around. Maybe make out a portfolio or create a mutual fund out of these companies and predict its future prices.
