"35,000+ anime titles with cross-referenced IDs
Dataset Description
This dataset is a 2026 snapshot of the Anime Offline Database, a community-driven project that aggregates and normalizes anime metadata from the world's largest providers (MAL, AniList, Kitsu, and AniDB).
The original source is a minified JSON file; I have processed and flattened that data into a single, clean CSV format to make it instantly usable for Data Scientists and Machine Learning enthusiasts on Kaggle.
Content
The CSV contains 35,000+ entries covering anime history from the 1960s through the Spring 2026 season. Key features include:
Identities: English, Romaji, and Japanese titles.
Categorization: Media type (TV, Movie, OVA, etc.), Episode counts, and Status.
Temporal Data: Airing year and season (e.g., Spring 2026).
Tags & Genres: Flattened strings of thematic tags for easy filtering.
Cross-Platform IDs: Mapping IDs for MyAnimeList, AniList, and Kitsu to allow for easy data merging.
