Dataset Description
The GDELT (Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone) 2.0 Event dataset monitors world news media in over 100 languages every 15 minutes and builds a free open dataset of global human society.
Each record represents a single news event and encodes actors, actions, geographic locations, and sentiment scores according to the CAMEO event taxonomy.
