Poverty Rate (% People Below $8.30 A Day)

Poverty headcount ratio at $8.30 a day is the percentage of the population living on less than $8.30 a day at 2021 international prices. As a result of revisions in PPP exchange rates, poverty rates for individual countries cannot be compared with poverty rates reported in earlier editions.

HOW TO JOIN WITH METADATA

• Concepts (labels/units)
– Use the concept id poverty_percent_people_below_830_a_day to look up labels and units in @gapminder.metadata.concepts.
