Dataset Description
The National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) provides detailed, incident-based crime data including information about each
offense such as time of day, demographics of offenders and victims, relationships between offenders and victims, and other details
about how and where crimes occur. NIBRS is the FBI's transition from summary-based crime reporting to a more comprehensive
incident-based system. No personally identifiable information (PII) is included in this data.
