This Eurostat dataset contains data on national transport by loading region and by group of goods (directive 80/1177/eec) (1982-2002), as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
