This Eurostat dataset contains data on national annual road freight transport by region of loading, group of goods and metropolitan region, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
