This Eurostat dataset contains data on persons receiving an old-age pension by their work situation at the beginning of pension receipt and current or previous occupation, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
