This Eurostat dataset contains data on foreign-born population by participation in a course for the main host country language after migrating, sex, age, country of birth and educational attainment level, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
