This Eurostat dataset contains data on main childcare-related reasons given by employed persons between 15 and 64 years old for not working or not working more, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
