This Eurostat dataset contains data on children (aged less than 16) unable to participate in school trips and school events due to financial reasons by risk of poverty or social exclusion, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
