This Eurostat dataset contains data on persons reporting a longstanding difficulty in basic activities by sex, age and type of basic activity where a longstanding difficulty is encountered, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
